How is pricing structured?
Two editions. Community is free (Apache 2.0) with unlimited users. The Enterprise Edition is the one paid edition — €25 per user a month, billed annually (shown per month for clarity), and lower per seat at volume. Run as many projects as you like on either edition.
Is the Community Edition really free forever?
Yes. The Community Edition is Apache 2.0 and free, forever — the full pipeline (crawl, upload, chat, search, widgets), the entire connector & MCP ecosystem, all LLM providers including local Ollama, REST API and Docker deploy, with unlimited users and unlimited projects. Your whole team can build on it at no cost.
What’s in the Enterprise Edition?
Everything in Community, plus the governance and compliance layer: SSO/SAML/OIDC, RBAC across organisations, teams and users, full audit and compliance exports, Compare Models, deep query tracing and advanced analytics, the mobile app (Beta), and email support in German and English. One paid edition, per seat — no feature is gated by how many seats you have.
Do you charge extra for SSO?
No. SSO/SAML/OIDC and RBAC are in the base Enterprise Edition — we don’t put single sign-on behind a higher paywall. For a compliance-first platform, secure access is a baseline, not an upsell.
How does per-seat pricing work as we grow?
The Enterprise Edition is €25 per user a month (€300/user/year) and gets cheaper per seat at volume: seats 1–49 at €300/year, 50–199 at €240, 200+ at €180 — each band priced only for the seats in it, so your bill always rises as you add users, never drops at a threshold. Self-serve has no minimum. The pricing calculator shows your exact blended price.
What about large or regulated deployments — white-label, SLA, air-gapped?
Those are enterprise services, added to the Enterprise Edition by agreement: white-label (your own brand and domain), an SLA, a dedicated CSM, guided onboarding and air-gapped support, plus SCIM and SIEM streaming on the roadmap. Scoped and quoted to your deployment. Talk to us about what you need.
Can I white-label RAGSuite?
Direct customers get white-label as an enterprise service, by agreement. Agency partners can white-label on any license they sell, for a client of any size — see the partner programme.
How does the upgrade from Community to a paid edition work?
In place. You apply a signed, offline license key that carries your seat count — no migration, no re-platforming, and nothing phones home to validate it.
Why EUR only, and is there a cloud option?
Pricing is in EUR, per seat, billed annually — predictable for DACH finance teams, one invoice. Today RAGSuite runs on your infrastructure, the whole point of a sovereign platform; an EU-sovereign managed cloud is planned as a future option.
